Denise has said of her art:

I find inspiration everywhere as I view the world as art in itself. My love of nature is often featured within my work, such as wildlife with a particular fascination for birds, the feline & equestrian families and natural landscapes. I see beauty in the things that are often overlooked or just considered ordinary.
