Ann Davies is a Saltaire-based artist whose work is often inspired by architectural detail and natural forms. She uses a range of art media, but has a particular interest in watercolour painting and pen and ink drawing.

Ann completed an art foundation course in art in Salisbury, Wiltshire, then a Graphic Design at Bradford College. She worked as a State Registered Nurse for many years, but now concentrates on her art professionally, working from a studio in Saltaire.
She has exhibited work at local fairs and galleries, including the Bingley Gallery, the Calder Gallery; Saltaire Maker’s Fair, the Art Parade Gallery, and Massarella Gallery, Saltaire; and the Holmfirth Art Market. Ann has also produced large installation pieces for the ‘Eureka!’ science museum in Halifax.
Ann is one of the Saltaire Inspired group of artists and in 2016 she had a painting accepted by the Royal Watercolour Society for an exhibition at The Bankside Gallery, London.
