Debs (Debbi) Wilson is a self-taught artist with a studio in Silsden. She works mainly in watercolour, pastel and pencil and has a particular interest in animal and bird subjects, although her range includes human portraiture and landscapes. She also works with ceramics and fused glass to create sculptures.

Debbi has exhibited widely across the North of England, including at the Harrogate Flower Show and Yorkshire Game Fair.  She has exhibited at a British Society of Painters exhibition at Ilkley, where she was voted ‘Favourite Artist’ by visitors.

Debbi’s portrait of ‘The Shepherd’, shown below, was voted best painting by  members of the public at the 2015 Gargrave Show, North Yorkshire. She had a solo exhibition of her work at The Art Shop in Ilkey in 2015 and was part of ‘The Dales as Scene’ group exhibition, April 2016, at the same venue.
