Tom Woolley is a freelance illustrator and digital designer based in Bradford, specialising in illustrated maps and hand lettering. His commissions have included work for Computer Arts Magazine, Esquire Magazine, McCain Foods, TMW, Carlton Kids Publishing, Ivy Press, Ernst & Young, Cape UK, Arts Council England, Think Publishing, Locate Magazine, King’s College London, University of Leeds, Bradford Animation Festival, National Media Museum, Settle Stories for the 2014 Storytelling Festival, and for the Bradford Beer Festival in Saltaire, 2015.
Before going freelance, Tom’s employment has included work with the National Media Museum in Bradford as a web designer/flash animator (2002-5), then later at the museum as Curator of New Media (2007-2012). He was also Director of Bradford Animation Festival, 2005-2007.
