Gillian Cordingley, potter, photographer, jewellery designer, and teacher, was born and raised in the Bradford area, and currently lives near Bingley.
Gillian attended Bingley Grammar School, then studied for a degree in education with art specialism at Leeds Metropolitan University.
She is Artist in Residence at the former Belle Vue Boys school, now Beckfoot, in Heaton. Gillian has also taught in community education settings, including at The Hive in Shipley, a local cancer support centre, the East Morton Institute, and at the Bingley Show.
For her own work she makes hand built, hand thrown, decorated ceramics and jewellery and sells these at retail outlets, including at the Handpicked Hall, Leeds.
